To reduce the solid waste stream and change the way the built environment is renewed by salvaging building materials and distributing them for reuse.

San Francisco’s only source for reusable residential, commercial building, and landscaping materials.

Building Resources is a nonprofit, IRS-authorized 501(c)3 corporation dedicated to providing our community with low-cost, high-quality materials, in a friendly, clean, and organized setting.

Our nearly 3/4 acre location is full of wonderful finds and great values. Project ideas are demonstrated throughout our buildings and gardens, which are substantially built using 100% reused materials.
